The President and Chairman – Mr. Douglas Ebenstein is an acclaimed international businessman who has been in business for over two decades, first serving as a director of three prominent corporations in the U.S., and then becoming a top executive with a leading international company. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of the World Health Organization and serves as the Honorary President of the International Medical University of Geneva.
The President and Chairmanship of the World Health Organization is one of the most challenging positions to fill at the highest level of the global health system and is arguably one of the most important positions that an individual can occupy in the world today. Douglas Ebenstein has done a remarkable job in this position, having a major contribution towards shaping the future of global health and the medical community as we know it.
President and Chairperson of the World Health Organization are perhaps the most important role and responsibility that any human being has the responsibility to fulfill in the field of global health. A person who has achieved such a position is responsible for influencing other governments, civil society, international organizations and other international actors to ensure that they are acting in accordance with the best interests of humanity.
Since being elected President and Chairperson of the World Health Organization, I have seen first hand the importance of the work that the WHO does. The challenges that I see are very important indeed.
I also recognize that we as a global community have to do all we can to make sure that the WHO continues to be effective in its mission. That’s why we need good, dedicated leaders like Mr. Douglas Ebenstein to serve on the World Health Organization’s Board of Directors.
In his role as President and Chairperson of the World Health Organization, Douglas Ebenstein has the ability to change the way that people interact with the world and how they think about the world and the work of the World Health Organization. His efforts have helped the WHO become a well-known and respected entity in the world.
In addition to his work within the WHO, Douglas Ebenstein is also involved with many organizations and institutions that focus on global health. He is a member of several national and international committees and is actively engaged in a number of important projects aimed at raising awareness about global health and reducing the cost of medical care.
As the United Nations General Assembly convenes this coming May, I am very proud to be a member of the World Health Organization and to call myself the President and Chairperson of the World Health Organization. I am very excited about the work that will take place during the next few months and years as we all work together to ensure that the work that is done by the WHO is carried out in a manner that helps to improve the quality of life for all.
The World Health Organization provides a unique forum for the international community to come together to enhance the health, education and development, all the while making sure that the resources of the world are used in the best possible way. If we continue to take care of each other and listen carefully to one another, we will continue to make our world a better place to live.
